New Year, New Resolutions

Happy New Year!! I hope your holidays and time with family was amazing, I know our holidays were! It’s hard for me to believe that almost an entire year ago I started this blog. I remember that one of my first blog posts was about my new years resolutions for last year. I love looking back and thinking about what I did and if I kept any of my resolutions. That’s the beauty of a blog – I have those resolutions written down so that I can always remind myself of what I wrote. It keeps you accountable! If you want to check out my resolutions blog from last year, you can find it here.

Rereading my blog, I can see that I accomplished some of my resolutions and goals from last year (like joining the Million Dollar Club, baby!!!) which I am so proud of. Isn’t it so awesome to be able to look back on your year knowing you hit your goals and stuck with your resolutions??

Another big resolution from last year was joining the O2 Wellness gym and getting a routine and a bit of structure into my life. I’m so happy that I’ve stuck with the gym even on the tough days. I’ve been able to become a more healthy, active person because of it. This year I want to continue with that old resolution which means hitting the gym four times a week. It’s become such a part of my routine each week that I really don’t know what I’d do without the gym, not to mention my personal trainer, Hannah!

In light of staying active and becoming healthier, I am working towards eating better this year. I’ve decided that one way I can be healthier is by making food from scratch for the kids rather than buying pre-packaged things. I started 2019 off on the right foot by making homemade waffles and chicken fingers (not at the same time – although I’ve heard that chicken and waffles is a delicious combination!). By making it from scratch I know exactly what goes into it and I can choose healthier options for my ingredients. Is anyone else wanting to get healthy this year? We can start off this year together!

My final new years resolution for this year is that I have chosen to embody the word “Positivity”. I truly believe that what you put into the world, you will get out of it and I want to put positivity into the world. I want everything I do to breathe positivity so that others can feel happy and uplifted. Who’s with me on this? Let’s make this world a better place by always being positive, uplifting and allowing abundance to overflow around us.
Happy New Year, it’s going to be a good one and I’m excited to journey with you through it!

xoxo,
Amy
