What It Means to Me to “Feel Like a Million”

Does genuine happiness come from success and glamour or from inner confidence and gratitude?

I think you know what answer I’m going with!

When I was growing up and even as a young adult, I thought that in order to be happy you had to be successful. You had to be beautiful. I spent a lot of energy for a long time and let me tell you, I never found what I was looking for.

Finally I knew something had to change. I stopped focusing on what other people thought of me and started focusing on becoming a better person. This opened up a whole new world to enjoy. I built up my inner confidence and I became grateful for what I had. I started looking for every chance to share this with others. I had found freedom!

When I changed my mindset and started living freely, I noticed that I felt different. I was happier, I was eager to connect with people, I was practicing healthy self care…I just felt GOOD! I didn’t have the burden of wondering what other people thought of me weighing me down. I had energy to focus on other people and connect with them deeply.

I’ve put this mindset in practice for years now – I focus on taking care of my mind, body and spirit and I use that same approach when connecting with others so that their mind, body and spirit are also refreshed.

When you are fuelled by gratitude, your energy will turn towards helping others and properly caring for yourself. This is what feel like a million means to me.

It’s about digging into your inner strength and connecting with people who will support you and be with you no matter what you’re going through.
