Why You Need to Celebrate You

Do you celebrate what you’ve achieved? Are you happy with who you are? Are you proud of what you’re doing with your life? When was the last time that you thought about who you are and been grateful?

I’m willing to bet these are not questions you think about too often! For some reason, it seems that we are hard wired to think that we are not good enough, or pretty enough, or funny enough. We see what other people are doing and we wish we could be like them instead of celebrating what we can do.

This week, spend time remembering what you love about yourself. Celebrate things you’ve done that you’re proud of and be grateful for who you are. Don’t focus on any of the things you wish you had. Don’t worry about what other people are doing either. Being confident in your own skin means you need to celebrate the good things about yourself.

This doesn’t mean that you think you are better than anyone else or that you look down on other people. This is about loving yourself just as much as you love other people  and it’s something that we just don’t do often enough. Celebrate you because you’re worth it. You’re just as important as anyone else on this planet and it’s time you reminded yourself of that fact!!

Celebrating these things will give you a clearer sense of your purpose. If you’ve grounded yourself in confidence you will be prepared to tackle anything that looks big and scary.
